Compulsive Reaction or Contemplative Activism?

Contemplative spirituality is some of the greatest wisdom for connecting authentically with God, our True, Essential Self and the world around us. Contemplative spirituality is not a new idea—it is an ancient posture found in all religions. Contemplative practices are simple but difficult for the False Self & the ego. It feels like discipline. And few of us are attracted to discipline, though we all are witnesses to discipline’s benefits. Contemplative activisms cultivates within us an internal posture of surrender—consenting to the action of God within us, allowing our unconscious motivations to be purified so that we live more often from our centered, Essential Self, making optimal impact in the world. Contemplative Activism rather than Compulsive Reaction.
